A Peek Inside My Camera Bag

One of the questions I am asked most frequently is what type of camera gear I use.  So, here's a little sneak peek at the camera, lenses and other bits and bobs that make up my photography equipment.

This camera is amazing! The low light capabilities is simply awesome, and I love the AF system.

This is my second go-to lens for indoor lifestyle shots.  Beautifully sharp and quick to focus.

I love this lens for portraits where I want to be able to interact with my subjects.   Absolutely amazing lens for a great price.

This lens is gorgeous for portraits when you want to be a little bit farther back from your subjects.  Great for adults, and for more candid shots of kids.

Macro lenses are wonderful for capturing minute details, however, this is also an excellent portrait lens.

A new addition to my camera bag, but I am already in love with this lens!  It's beautifully sharp even stopped all the way down, quick to focus, and the  35mm is a great storytelling lens.

I rarely use this Speedlite as I prefer to use natural light, however, there are times when having that extra boost of light is invaluable.

I found this to be invaluable for setting my white balance. White balance and color are my nemesis, so I love being able to use this to ensure I get accurate color in my images.

This camera bag is great - it looks like a normal purse but can easily fit my camera and two extra lenses  into it, plus other bits and bobs. I love being able to take my camera with me wherever I go, as you never know when you might want to grab a few photographs!

Every image that you see on this site will have been edited in some way - and some more than others! Three tools that I use regularly are:

I also use Photoshop CS5 but you can no longer buy Photoshop in a boxed version - if you want Photoshop, it needs to be as a subscription. The photography plan where you get both Lightroom and Photoshop is excellent value:

Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan (Photoshop CC + Lightroom) [Digital Membership]

I also use RadLab by Totally Rad Products - I love hw quickly I can do a creative edit with it and I've been trying out their Replichrome Presets recently too!
